Rocky Point Restaurant Wedding in Big Sur CA | Siobhan + Ken
when i look at you i can
feel it
i look at you and
i'm home.
Siobhan + Ken are true wanderers, yearning to see new places and experience new things. Big Sur definitely holds a special place in their hearts. As many people know, one of the main bridges fell a few months ago so only part of Big Sur is accessible. Unfortunately, this couple's original venue was on the other side of the that bridge. Luckily, Rocky Point Restaurant had availability only 10 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING! However, when I talked to Siobhan she was as cool as a cucumber, not stressed in the slightest. With a smile she said her wedding was made up of the people and the love they shared, not the location. (Did I mention Siobhan is the coolest?? Because she is.)
When Siobhan requested her bouquet she said she wanted what looked like a "handpicked bouquet of Big Sur's natural wildflowers". Kate Healey of Big Sur Flowers definitely nailed it. Kate is a Big Sur native and absolutely one of the most talented florists I have met (check out her work, its amazing). Also how about that ceremony location at Rocky Point Restaurant?! Now that is a view I would never tire of <3 One more thing: THE FOOD. It was absolutely incredible. From appetizers to entrees, A Big Sur Affair hit it out of the park. Im a bit of a Portland food snob and I have to say I was thouroughly impressed.
Siobhan + Ken, you both are wonderful and it was such a blast to adventure the coastline with you. <3
