"We met each other by sheer luck on a day when both Daniel and I were out enjoying a lovely summer’s day in Portland.  I was reading and relaxing under a shade tree at Colonel Summers Park and Daniel had come to the park with a friend.  When he saw me siting there in the sun and reading a book he couldn’t resist asking how my day was going and the feeling in the air made it hard to shrug off his inquiry.  We ended up talking for while and wandering around SE Portland for the rest of the day and into the evening, when we returned to Colonel Summers and kissed on the grass."

This wedding is one of my favorite weddings of the year. But I will admit I am slightly biased since I am a Portlandian and love all things Portland. I especially love the Ace Hotel, Mount Tabor Park, and wineries... and this wedding showcases all three. A special thank you to the Ace Hotel for allowing me to utilize their lobby. And their air plant ;P And a second special thank you to Andrea for being such a rockstar assistant. Dulcie and Dan, I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have been your wedding photographer.
